The archive’s direct sequence begins with 2Pac’s Holla at Me in February 1996 and Hit ’Em Up in June. Both name The Notorious B.I.G. among their targets, but Hit ’Em Up broadens its target list to include Puff Daddy, Mobb Deep, and Chino XL.^[1],[2],[3]

Against All Odds and Bomb First extend 2Pac’s attacks later in 1996. The Notorious B.I.G.’s Long Kiss Goodnight was released on Life After Death in March 1997 and is filed as targeting 2Pac.
